MR. LUCKY AND THE EXTRANATRURALS
Acid Lounge Punk Extravaganza? Try to imagine the bastard child of Frank Sinatra, Buster Poindexter, Johnny Rotten and that B-52's guy. This is lounge taken to the nth degree.
T'CHKUNG
Tribal industrial punk band featuring drums, didgeridoo and electric grinder that lights-up the crowd; fire breathing, body piercing and branding. Their influences combine industrial, Moroccan, Irish, Nigerian, taiko and country music.
IDIOT FLESH
A frantic display of old fashioned "entertainment" routines including songs, inflatable suits and constant chatter, all designed to distract from its central premise, the Rock Against Rock movement. Grand Guignol theater at its finest. They will premier their new music, "Fancy." Look for their Trojan Horse!
BEYOND RACE
Galactic Cyber-funk gypsies from the psychic vortex of San Francisco. Accelerate your mind into hyperspace... hear them blending Middle Eastern, funk, travel, ambient psychedelia and dance music into a hybrid mix of madness.
burning man DRUMMING COLLECTIVE
Frustrated with attempts to unify the "collective" drummers at Burning Man, the idea of the BMDC sprang from the ashes of BM'94. The idea is to move the crowd, as a large animal, with a unified pulse. The current line-up unifies a handful of drummers who, when unified, sound pretty good together and have actually rehearsed! Unified (or separately) they plan to unify and rock the crowd throughout the weekend, and dominate -- or unify -- at will.
SURFACE 10
Dean De Benedictis's electronic, ambient soundscapes represent the Black Rock Desert and the Pyramid Lake region.
JIMMY 2 TIMES
While sticking to its primarily ska rhythms, J2X mixes rock n' roll, rockabilly, punk surf and swing with ska, creating its own unique sound.
SPIRIT DRUM FIRE DANCE
Kick off your inhibitions. Bring firewood, drums, rhythmic instruments, water to share, spontaneous rituals and snacks for early morning. Please leave behind flashlights, flashing lights, other intrusive technologies, harmonic instruments and preconceptions. The Fire Dance begins at sunset Friday night and last until dawn at the Spirit Drum Fire Circle.
SUNFUR
Bridging the gap with World Alternative Rock! Sunfur blends world rhythms & influences (Middle Eastern, African and Native American) with grunge, alternative vocals and guitars.
GHOST LIKE SUN
Offering a blend of male and female vocals combined with textured guitar and driving percussion, the band mixes rock and ambient styles to deliver shimmering audible dreams.
